Share the love! Enter our Bake-Off!

Since our very first open mic night, lovely people have been making donations of their own home-baked goods… We think sharing baked goods is one of the most wonderful ways to share love – and we love to share love at Milk and Cookies! We invite you to celebrate with us and add your home-baking to the mix at our open mic night – and, of course, enter your home-baking in our Bake-Off.

What’s this whole Bake-Off thing about? Our Bake-Off is the fun baking competition we run at each one of our open mic nights. We welcome entries of baked goods of all kinds (not just cookies!) – just beware, we don’t have any cutlery at Milk and Cookies, so make sure whatever you bring is finger food and can be eaten without a plate, fork or spoon! The entries will be judged by three judges, chosen randomly from among the audience. Raffle tickets given out at the door to aid in the selection of judges- do make sure you keep yours! The winning baker will be called up on stage to collect their prize and their recipe will be featured in our upcoming zine, Cookie Crumbs.

Milk and Cookies team members provide the bulk of baked goods at our events. To show our gratitude for your contribution, we do not enter our baked goods in the Bake-Off. So get your wooden spoons out… We can’t wait to taste your entries!

Being an unrivalled genius in the field of cookies (and allegedly, occasional personal chef to Milk & Cookies own personal idol, Cookie Monster) Nina kind of makes it up as she goes. So, consider this advanced cookie class. Get your… Read More

Milk and Cookies V saw eleven delicious Bake-Off entries, everything from cookies to cream sponge, to rice crispy cakes. There were no complaints from the three judges as they tasted this month’s mouthwatering set of entries with the help of Milk and Cookies team member Niamh McManus. The decision was unanimous… Steph Gallagher’s famous brownies won the day. We weren’t surprised! Steph has been bringing her baked good to Milk and Cookies from the very beginning, and in that time she has developed quite the reputation! Well done Steph! Milk and Cookies loves your baking!
