Our Team

We like to think of Milk and Cookies as a group effort… Milk and Cookie Stories is run by a team of really amazing people, who do all sorts of things to make our events and our projects happen. They bake cookies, they organise things, they tell stories and help other people tell stories, they plan meetings (and parties), they write articles, they make crafts, they serve coffee (and tea)… You name it, they do it, and all out of love for Milk and Cookies, because Milk and Cookies is staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers.

Milk and Cookies loves new people. We are always on the look-out for new volunteers to join our team. No matter how much time you have to spare or what skills you have to offer, there is a place for you on the Milk and Cookies team. (Contact us if you think you might like to get involved.) Milk and Cookies loves the people she already has too! With this in mind, this page is dedicated to the people who make Milk and Cookies happen, the wonderful Milk and Cookies team… because Milk and Cookies couldn’t exist without them.

Donal og Mac Con Iomaire

Hark! 16 months ago, an incredible event took place when a 25 year old man was born from a woman. His name was Donal Óg. To say he’s a bit of a recluse is an understatement, however if you do wish to visit him in his castle, brings carrots. He likes carrots.

Brenda Quigley

Brenda has loved baking cakes and all things tasty since she was very small. She began her cake-baking career with cakes baked in her Easy-bake oven (powered by a light bulb), which she market tested on her three brothers. She is well known for her carrot cake (although some say her cheesecake is legendary) and has made dozens of different themed birthday cakes (from pirate ships to robots). She particularly likes cooking in bulk and secretly dreams of installing a cauldron in her new kitchen. Brenda loves helping out, organising things and seeing them run really well. At parties, she… Read More

Ceri Bevan

Ceri came to Milk and Cookies to help get things down from high shelves. Since then he’s found his niche being welcoming, an occasional MC, internet cheerleader and all-round organiser of the little things that must be organised. He looks remarkably convincing holding a clipboard, and hand-picked himself to head up Milk and Cookies Special Ops unit. He’d love to tell you more, but you appear to have been bundled into the back of a van. If it’s any consolation, something smells delicious. Despite being the only member of Milk and Cookies with no discernible baking ability, he still gets… Read More
