Milk and Cookie Stories IX

featuring a theme – Truth or Fiction? and the Milk & Cookies BAKE-OFF!

Doors 6.30pm, Tuesday July 13th, Exchange Dublin

Um...Pass

The suitably warped flier for Milk & Cookies IX

You callin’ me a liar? I’m tellin’ you – Milk & Cookie Stories are announcing that our next event will be taking place in Exchange Dublin on Tuesday July 13th (don’t worry, it’s two days after the World Cup final). Doors open at 6.30pm (and not before), the show starts at 7pm, and we’ll be making our excuses around 10pm. We say this all with a straight face and not a hint of the old shifty eyes.

So what did you hear? The theme for this month is Truth or Fiction. Here’s the deal – after each story we’ll ask you to vote to see if you think what you’ve just heard is a true story that actually for-reals happened, or a sickeningly imaginative fabrication dredged from the hyperactive imagination of one who’s just had a few too many cookies. So, we’re looking for true (or better yet, plausibly true) stories wherever possible; but as usual we’re happy to have you sign up regardless of what you have. If you’re interested in telling any kind of story check out our house rules and casually mention it to one of the Cookie Team on the night; you’ll be promptly pounced on by an army of clipboards and welcoming faces.

Do you wish to look as happy as these people?

We are not done with the BAKE-OFF!, because you are obviously not done with it either. Trade cookies for prizes! More details can be found here.

You ARE Milk & Cookies. This is not an exaggeration. Every month we’ve managed to maintain a consistently entertaining, and by turns hilarious, moving and thoughtful array of storytellers culled from the ranks of anybody who kinda felt like it – and it just makes us more adamant that EVERYONE has a story to tell. So grab a cup of tea and one of the prize duvet spots, and lend an ear, or get to tellin’. This one should be big.

And oh, one more thing.

Milk & Cookies ♥’s you!
